Project Description:

I have worked with NCSS since Fall 2012 when we commenced our first redesign of their site moving them from static html pages to a WordPress backend CMS. We did some initial restructuring of site layout and url structuring, but we could only improve the site so much. In 2015 they decided to take the site advances a step further and we did a fully responsive design utilizing Bootstrap as well as some scripting additions with PHP to automate the site as well as pull different sections together.

With the 2nd redesign we also implemented a new SEO strategy to restructure the site map and urls with updated folder names and relevant content in the right places. This restructuring along with several ad campaigns increased the site user base by 53% from 120,000 to more than 180,000 users. We also recently overhauled NCSS’s e-commerce platform through utilization of PHP, jQuery, & AJAX to simplify the buying process and enhance the user experience. This resulted with a 47% increase in online sales.
